Walk of Faith House is a non-profit 501C3 organization with an outstanding and diverse team. Our board consists of 9 members that all bring a unique talent to the table. Check out our lead team below.
I am a discipleship counselor on staff at Christian Families Today. I am also the Director of CFT’s Freedom from Addiction Program. I have been on staff at CFT since January of 2010. I live in McDonough, GA. with my wife Yvonne and we have been married for 19 years. We have two children, my step-son Stephen and our son Robby.
I believe in the mission and vision of the WOFH. What has been most impactful is the care and compassion of the leadership team toward those who are the most vulnerable in our society. My favorite aspect of being a part of the board is the camaraderie with other board members stemming from their shared values and convictions to the reality that Christ IS life. What excites me most about the future is the experience, anticipation, and even the suspense which comes with being a firsthand witness to what God is doing to bring the WOFH into fruition. My life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6,
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight
I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida and have lived the last 3 ½ years in Newnan, GA with my husband David and our 4 daughters. I received a Bachelor of Science in Human Services at Columbia College and a Master of Science in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Since high school, I believe that my purpose here on earth was to assist those who suffer from addiction. And what better way to do that, then to assist individuals with different methods/techniques on how to cope with life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups (Spiritually, mentally, personally as well as professionally).
I said “YES” to Walk of Faith House because I was walking in faith when my family and I moved to Newnan, BUT it was nothing but faith that led me to meet Kim Maniaci. My prayers were answered when I heard the vision/mission for WOFH. It felt like we were destined to meet and walk this journey together. Hebrews 11:1 note that “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”. My hope for the women that would be walking through the doors of WOFH is to find FREEDOM in everything they do!
I am married to Kim Maniaci, and we have a son Luke, and recently have taken some leaps of faith. I have been in the floor covering business the majority of my working life, but this last year, left that full time, to pursue a business God placed on our hearts, to minister to people in a different way, through t-shirts. I still do floor covering on the side, while starting our business Sharper4Him - t-shirts with a point. I also serve on the Board for RiverLIfe, coach our son in basketball and lead a couple of teams at our church. My greatest blessing is to be able to serve other people and be the hands and feet of Jesus in a very tangible way.
I am involved with Walk of Faith House, because I see people struggling with addiction all around us. As a board member of Walk of Faith House I’m proud to partner with fellow board members and volunteers to help women take a stand against their addictions by pointing them to the Healer; Jesus Christ.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17.
I've been married to my husband Mark for 38 years. We have two children, our daughter Lindsey and her husband John, who have four beautiful children. We have a son named Tyler and his wife Allie, who are expecting a little boy in March.
I'm so happy to be a part of WOFH. I've dealt with addiction in my past and believe I can be an asset to the women who are trying to find freedom through Jesus Christ. I'm excited to see lived change in His Name.
I have lived most of my life in Newnan, Georgia. I have a wonderful family; my husband Donnie and I have been married for 6 years, one daughter, one step-daughter and one step grandson. And the important member of the family our four-legged dog Oakley. I love the beach or the mountains, anywhere I can enjoy God's beautiful outdoor creation.I love trying my hand at gardening.
I said yes to Walk of Faith House because I have seen what finding the Freedom in Jesus Christ can mean for women. So many women are hurting and holding onto "stuff" that needs to be released in the name of Jesus Christ. Women finding their identity in Jesus and learning how much he truly loves and cares for them is the only way to break all those chains of the past and find that Freedom. Watching all the doors that God has opened through Walk of Faith House to this point has truly been an amazing experience to be a part of and I am so excited to see what He has in store for the future.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11. NIV
I have been blessed with an incredible family that consists of my husband, 2 sons, 2 daughter’s-in-law, 2 stepchildren, and 5 grandchildren. I love reading and teaching the Word of God and ministering to people. I enjoy spending time with my amazing family, doing scrapbooks, and crocheting.
I became involved with WOFH because I felt a strong draw of the Holy Spirit to be a part of this ministry. I stand in awe as God moves mountains to bring WOFH into fruition. I can’t wait to see God continue to deliver, heal, restore, give hope, and work in the lives of the women who will walk through the doors on their walk of faith.
I am from Woodstock Ga and have lived in Newnan for almost 4 years. Married to Jessica Whitlock for almost 4 years. Daughter Harper is 2. We have 2 dogs, Millie and Dixie. I enjoy serving others and spending time with my family. I am a big sports fan and enjoy the outdoors.
I said yes to serving on the Board of Walk of Faith House because I felt that we would make a positive impact immediately. I also saw an opportunity to become more intentional in where/how I serve the Kingdom of God. I get excited at the opportunity to combine resources from various locations to make an impact in women's lives to see them walk in complete Freedom in Christ Jesus.
I am from LaGrange Ga and have lived in Newnan for 10 years. Married to Adam Whitlock for almost 4 years. Daughter Harper is 2. We have 2 dogs, Millie and Dixie. I love church, family time and spending time outside.
I said yes to serving on the Walk of Faith House board because I felt it was a great opportunity to have a positive impact in my life as well as the lives of others. I have also become more aware of the serious drug epidemic all around metro Atlanta and we have the answer that women need, Jesus. And I believe through this experience we can do great things as we collaborate with other board members. I am looking forward to being part of the solution and watching hurt hearts heal!
